You are instructed to open the later two only when the game tells you to. Zines are good! Second issue in particular - once you open the package you have Issue one, two, and a secret envelope. It's probably still hard to get used to without a programming background though, and Opus Magnum will most likely remain my suggested intro game to non-programmers. It's by far the most accessible of their programming games. All I have to complain about are nitpicks really. The resource contention order RNG sometimes gives or takes a few cycles and I hope they can come up with a clever solution for that somehow, though I struggle to see what it might be. Activity feels like padding because they needed a third chart, "meh" at best. Size is a really good metric for this game now that you don't feel size crunch when clearing, cycles can be very hard if you parallelize as much as possible, which is a lot if you master REPL and communication.
